First time stopping in after living in Gering for 2 years. Love the old dinner feel. Food is wonderful and they buy the sausage locally

If you're looking for a local restaurant with Wyoming charm, look no further than the Log Cabin Restaurant and Lounge! Loved this place! The servers here were super friendly and the food was great as well, good portion sizes. Genuine local fare.

My mom and I went to the log cabin restaurant yesterday for lunch, and everything was above and beyond the expected. The atmosphere was very comfortable, our waitress was very amazing and so sweet, the coffee and the food were A. I was very impressed. I brought half of my meal home. It was very filling. Thank you for the great experience.

we love this little dinner. Food is always good. My favorite is the the liver and onions. They also have a great meatloaf plate. They offer a small salad /soup bar, which has a decent choice. With the dinners they have the best homemade bread. We come here at least once a month. Really cant go wrong eating here. It is a older restaurant, so its not fancy by any means but the food its Great! My only complaint would be it needs a deep cleaning. (carpet and window coverings) still a 5 star.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way through town. Staff was very friendly and it had a nice hometown cafe feel to it. Ordered the special, which was a Denver Omlette and I was not disappointed. Everything was yummy and fresh. Had plenty to eat too! The restaurant had plenty of seating and the walls were full of historical pictures and artifacts. Definitely enjoyed eating here and would love to come back!

Stopped in Gering on way to Yellowstone. Found this great place on Google Maps. Food looked so good I started eating before I remembered a picture! Home made onion rings...yes please!! Wait staff were polite and not too attentive to be a bother. Be prepared to spend , which matches their portions. Would recommend for certain.

The help were very attentive with refills n gave away smiles for free. Live in Wyoming n traveled to Gering, Nebraska to have lunch with my Grandson. They let us occupy our booth for hours as we caught up with each other's news. I went there every weekend to play keno. The waitresses were very happy to see me as I was to see them again.
